Welcome to the Music Class!

 

The Goal of our Music Class is for the Scholars to learn to play an instrument in an Ensemble.  The different Ensembles we offer alternating during the school year are: String Ensemble, Wind Ensemble, Ukulele Ensemble and Modern Band.    

 

Our goals are to share the Knowledge of basic elements of music in Theory, Music History and performance practice. This website is designed to give you information about our Music Class, Scholar sample work, Classroom work and general resources and information.

Program Description:

 

The classroom work for my class is gear towards performing an instrument in an ensemble.

 

In addition we:

 

1-Learn about the basics of music, Music theory, Reading music, music history, different styles and practices of Music and World Music.

 

2-Play concerts

 

3-Develop academic skills

 

4-Develop skills of cooperation and teamwork
