In New York, he performs at venues such as Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center's Alice Tully Hall, Poison Rouge, Galapagos and Drom among others. He also enjoys performing the Alto Saxophone and Trombone in band ensembles. Recordings include the Sony, Enya and Arco labels.

Edmundo began his violin, viola and euphonium studies at the Municipal School of Music in Santo Domingo de Heredia and later at the National Youth Symphony Music Program, in his native Costa Rica. He continued his studies in viola and violin performance at the New England Conservatory, Mannes College of Music, The Juilliard School and the Academia Chigiana in Italy. Edmundo also holds a Master degree with emphasis on Music Education from Lehman College.
